Proud Mamma!

I am one proud mama today!  It was dentist time and in the past I have dreaded going!  Miranda and Owen have both had caps, baby root canals, you name it and the dentist has done it!!  For some reason Leland has been lucky and has never had one cavity!  Which has been a blessing because 2 kids with teeth issues is enough!

But today I am so happy to announce they all three had a good good good visit.  NO CAVITIES!!!!  YAY!!!!

That's a good feeling!:)

To top it off Dr. Albrecht is absolutely wonderful with the kids.  His whole staff is great.  I've never had a bad experience and that's saying a lot with the amount of time we've spent there!!

Sunday Best!

We had a great Easter this year.  Joy and Mom and girls all came down from Sandy.  Very fun and very busy.  Our cousin Sylvia was able to stop by on Friday with her family.  We haven't seen them in years.  And cousins Chasen and Taren came by on the same day.  It was a party at the Mayes' house!  The kids had a blast together and we were sorry to see our visitors leave.  

We actually made it to church on Sunday and Owen gave his first talk in primary.  The kids all looked so adorable in their Easter Clothes.  All in all it was a great weekend.  Easter Bunny, family, chocolate, and, church!! What more could you ask for?

My appointment was at 4 p.m. today.  All the kids wanted to go so I made it late in the afternoon.  Toby barley missed it.  As we were walking out of the office, Tob was walking in.  I have to say seeing the baby move around really made it real for me.  He was adorable, even though he looks like an alien, he's our little alien! All the kids were hoping for a girl, especially Miranda.  She even cried for a little while because she was so disappointed.  She doesn't know how good she's got it.  

She will forever be the princess!

Anyway, I guess now it's just coming up with a name.  Any ideas???

Dinner With Dad

the Kids Choice Awards on Nick.

Pwecious Feet!

When Owen turned four in October all he wanted for his birthday was moon sand. And yes of course he got it.  I'm surprised it's lasted this long, but the other day he was playing with it and he made a footprint with his little four year old foot. I happened to pass him by as I was walking to the kitchen and he said "mommy, look at my pwecious footprint!"  I was in tears laughing.  It was too cute!  Even though he is put in time outs throughout  the day and sometimes swatted on the behind, he knows that I think everything about him is precious especially those feet! 

I guess I'm not as bad as I think.  I feel like the majority of the time I am getting angry at my little ones but I think I'm mistaken.  Or I hope I'm mistaken because I want them to remember the good and fun times mommy has with them, not the angry moments!

Crazy Preggo!!

Okay, I admit being pregnant with my other three was no picnic.  But this fourth one has completely thrown me for a loop!  I have never been so hormonal!  One second I'm crying, the next I'm laughing hysterically, then I'm growing horns out of my head crazy mean!!  My friend Adrianne, said it's called pregnancy rage.  I had pregnancy rage with my others but only towards people driving stupidly, never did I freak out on Toby the way I have lately.  I know he's had it and walking on pins and needles. I feel so bad but I can't control it.  I seriously feel like I am out of control of myself.  Not a fun way to feel.  I keep trying to tell myself that it will be worth it, but will it?  Okay, maybe once I hold that newborn in my arms, but until then I am a living nightmare! AHHHHHHHHHHH!!  And poor Toby is my only scapegoat.

I'm sorry Tob, I know how much you must hate me right now.  Just remember that this really is not who I am. (At least I don't think so?)  And know that I do love you and do appreciate all you're doing for me, especially with the kids.  Thank You!!

And to anyone who crosses my path, beware!! You might just see those horns!:)

Leland's Field Trip

For the first time ever, I was able to go on a field trip with one of my kids.  Leland went to Lin's Market, Artic Circle, and the Fire Station.  It was a lot of fun.  He was most excited for the fire station. We saw parts of a store, you would never see by just shopping.  We also were able to go behind the counter of Artic Circle and we got ice cream.  

I actually learned a lot.  I had no idea how many fire engines they had and how each one is used for a specific fire.  Very interesting!

I think the best part for Leland was the bus ride.  No seat belts!!
