Swimming Lessons

Sadly, swimming lessons have come to an end.  It kept us busy for a couple of weeks and the kiddo's ate and slept better from being in the water so much.  We really miss the beach!!
Miranda had a hard time at first because she has sinus issues, but a nose plug quickly did the trick and her teacher thought she was a beautiful swimmer who should definitely join the pre swim team.
Leland did awesome!  He is so big that he just sinks in the water, but he made great improvement this year on freestyle and the back stroke.  He had a blast!
Owen did good too.  He's still a little timid and should repeat level one, but he had fun and at four that's all that counts.  He tends to get crushes on his girl teachers and had a big one on his swimming teacher.  I don't blame him, she was beautiful, young and tan!  Owen snuck a goodbye kiss in everyday for two weeks. Such a flirt!

Cinnamon and Titan

Ya gotta love the tongues!

They wore each other out!

Cinnamon is one of Titan's puppies.  She is one of two fawns that Kaya and Titan had.  Her color is really light and she doesn't have too much white on her, but she is really beautiful.  We were able to let them play for an hour or so today.  Titan finally met his match as far as energy!  They both have a ton of it, but surprisingly Titan was lagging behind her.  She is full of puppy energy!  They were really cute together.  It really makes me want a playmate for Titan!

Tob's Company Party

So Toby's company, Viracon, had a party today.  It was down at the new Washington County Recreation Center.  I've been wanting to check it out so this ended up being the perfect opportunity.  Plus free admission and free food oh yeah!  The center itself is amazing.  It's huge!  But we were just at the aquatic center.  Which is gigantic too!!  It by far beats the Sand Hollow Aquatic Center and it's a couple miles closer.  The kiddo's had a blast.  Water slides, water toys, lazy river that extends outside, not to mention an outside water area as well!!  Yes they seriously wore themselves out.  I even had to join in the fun.  I didn't think I'd put myself in a bathing suit, being round and preggo, but I just couldn't miss out on the fun! And I think Toby might have had more fun than the kids, he couldn't wipe away the smile on his face!:)
I checked out the actual admission fees and the price for all day fun isn't as bad as I thought it would be.  6$ for adults and 5$ for kids.  They also have a punch pass for 72$ that has 20 passes on it.  I don't think we'd ever go that many times this summer but it's a good deal for people that would.  So if you've been wanting to check it out I definitely say it's worth it, even if you end up going once this summer!

Proud Mamma!

I am one proud mama today!  It was dentist time and in the past I have dreaded going!  Miranda and Owen have both had caps, baby root canals, you name it and the dentist has done it!!  For some reason Leland has been lucky and has never had one cavity!  Which has been a blessing because 2 kids with teeth issues is enough!
But today I am so happy to announce they all three had a good good good visit.  NO CAVITIES!!!!  YAY!!!!
That's a good feeling!:)
To top it off Dr. Albrecht is absolutely wonderful with the kids.  His whole staff is great.  I've never had a bad experience and that's saying a lot with the amount of time we've spent there!!

Jack, James, Chasen, Taren, Gavin, and Leland
Having fun with bakugans!
Sunday Best!

We had a great Easter this year.  Joy and Mom and girls all came down from Sandy.  Very fun and very busy.  Our cousin Sylvia was able to stop by on Friday with her family.  We haven't seen them in years.  And cousins Chasen and Taren came by on the same day.  It was a party at the Mayes' house!  The kids had a blast together and we were sorry to see our visitors leave.
We actually made it to church on Sunday and Owen gave his first talk in primary.  The kids all looked so adorable in their Easter Clothes.  All in all it was a great weekend.  Easter Bunny, family, chocolate, and, church!! What more could you ask for?

It's a............?

It's a Boy!!!!
There's no denying that this is a boy!

My appointment was at 4 p.m. today.  All the kids wanted to go so I made it late in the afternoon.  Toby barley missed it.  As we were walking out of the office, Tob was walking in.  I have to say seeing the baby move around really made it real for me.  He was adorable, even though he looks like an alien, he's our little alien! All the kids were hoping for a girl, especially Miranda.  She even cried for a little while because she was so disappointed.  She doesn't know how good she's got it.
She will forever be the princess!
Anyway, I guess now it's just coming up with a name.  Any ideas???

Dinner With Dad

While Mom is away the kids will play.
They said spaghetti and meatballs and Dad said OK.
We washed it all down with the ever-nutritious root-beer float all the while watching
the Kids Choice Awards on Nick.
See Mommy we are just fine!  Just a  little over loaded with carbs and sugar.... But JUST FINE!
